Ultrasound 21 weeks
20 weeks 5 daysThis has been a big week for the Wolfpack! Although Matt tried to convince me to let the sex be a surprise, I just couldn't wait four more months to know if we're getting a boy or a girl. Originally Matt wanted a boy, but within a few weeks changed his mind to wanting a girl. I had a hunch it was a boy all long... and I was right! He measures in at 10" and 12 oz, which is right on target for 21 weeks.
Later that night I could feel him kicking up a storm, which has been happening for about three weeks. Matt finally got to feel it too! Definitely an indescribable feeling. The Penguin is very active and we are pretty sure he's practicing his kickball moves so he can start playing in a newborn league. A recent article suggests that a newborn baby will keep the same schedule it has in utero. That might not be too bad since for now the Penguin wakes up at 5:30am and is most active from 9-11pm.
