Fun Times as a Six Month Old

The wolfpack is pretty much settled into the apartment for the next three months, which has its pros and cons.  A definite pro is the pool.  A definite con is that half of our stuff is in a storage unit packed so tightly it is impossible to get anything out.  Jackson absolutely loves the pool so we go pretty much every afternoon.

Matt went to Texas for work so Jackson and I took the opportunity to go spend a few days at Greatest Grandad's house (yes, he named himself that).  We went strawberry picking, Jackson learned "man things", and we had a photo shoot to memorialize his and GD's matching sandals.

A friend gave us a book called Waterfalls of South Carolina.  A lot of the waterfalls are on old, unused trails and it's quite an experience to find them.  Lesson learned: take GPS watch next time!  We ended up doing a 6m hike and never found the trail we were actually looking for, but our Moonshine Falls hike was still pretty great.  We had to cross a swift creek on a cable bridge so Jackson got to do some extreme baby hiking and we accidentally found Bald Rock, which had a breathtaking view and made the extra two miles worth the trek.
